"Nancy Takes The Case" is the first segment of the thirty-third episode of Fancy Nancy. It premiered on June 7, 2020, alongside "The Dynamic Deux."[1]
Synopsis[]
Nancy must solve a crime where the suspects are all her best friends.
Plot[]
Nancy, Bree, Grace, Lionel, Rhonda and Wanda are all stuck at the Clancys' house due to a snowstorm. They don't have anything to do and are getting bored, so Nancy proposes them to play "Who Coulda Done It?" -- Bree, Grace, Lionel, Rhonda and Wanda object.
After a little argument, Lionel realizes that his comic book is missing. Seeing that, Nancy and Bree say they'll find it and that they are on the case, so they put on their detective suits. Then Nancy and Bree proceed to interrogate everyone (that's when you ask a lot of questions,) and look for clues. But unfortunately, that ended being useless.
Since either Nancy or Bree could not find anything, Nancy tries to trick who stole the comic book by letting an envelope (which was supposed to contain who is guilty) at some 'unsafe' place (if someone takes it, they would know who took Lionel's comic book as well.) But it doesn't work either.
Finally, just when they were getting desperate, they hear JoJo and go to see her, discovering that she is the one who took Lionel's comic book. JoJo gives it back and the episode comes to its conclusion with Nancy saying "Oak Street. There's a story for every house on this cul-de-sac. Luckily, this one ended with hot chocolate."
