Alyson Hannigan (born March 24, 1974) is an American actress who voices Claire Clancy (Nancy's mom.)

Alyson Hannigan voices the role of Claire Clancy, mother to six-year-old Nancy, in Disney Junior’s animated series “Fancy Nancy,” about a high-spirited young girl whose imagination and enthusiasm for all that is exquisite transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Born in Washington, D.C., Hannigan began appearing in commercials at the age of four and then moved to Hollywood at age 11. She soon landed her first major film role in “My Stepmother Is an Alien,” alongside Seth Green. She is best known for her roles in the Emmy® Award-winning series’ “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “How I Met Your Mother,” with additional acting credits including the “American Pie” film franchise, “Angel,” “Veronica Mars” and the latest Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible.” Hannigan can currently be seen in “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and in the upcoming “Flora and Ulysses” for Disney+.
She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” co-star Alexis Denisof, and their two daughters.
- She stated that her oldest daughter was gifted a Fancy Nancy book for her second birthday and that it slowly won both of their hearts and when she heard Disney Junior was planning to adapt the book series for television she said she wanted to be a part of it and was willing to take any role even Frenchy.
